Florikan has produced a seasonal color controlled release fertilizer designed for our area to ensure optimal nutrition for seasonal color in the landscape setting. The new Florikan 14-5-14 is a 6 month polymer coated fertilizer containing Nitrogen, Phosphate, and Potash with micronutrients such as magnesium, iron, and manganese. This fertilizer is designed to release nutrition in a controlled manner throughout a 6 month period. Nutrient release is dependent on temperature and moisture. As soil temperature reaches a warmer level, the nutrient release increases to meet the demands of plants.
