Ajuga

Chocolate Chip

Ajuga Chocolate Chip forms a dense matt about 2-4 inches tall that covers ground well. Eventually it can reach a size of about 24-36 inches and put on quite a bloom show in the spring. Short bloom spikes rise above the foliage in early spring with a true blue mass of flowers lasting up to about 4 weeks.

Care & Maintenance:
Little to no maintenance is required. Blooms spikes can be sheared off when spent to tidy up the plant. Clumps can be divided in the spring and early summer. Shaded areas will produce a deeper chocolate color on the foliage.
