Sombrero Echinaceas are well branched plants which do not require vernalization to bloom. They will be loaded with strong stems and vivid red blooms from early to late summer.

Sombrero Salsa Red is excellent for perennial borders, containers, cottage gardens or mass plantings. They also make wonderful cut flowers and dried flowers for arrangements. Like all cone flowers, you will see plenty of wildlife from bees and butterflies to yellow finches in the fall.
