Ferns - Perennial
Dryopteris erythrosora, Autumn Fern
Autumn Fern is a wonderful, low growing and spreading fern that sends up new fronds of copper-red tones giving this evergreen beauty some color interest as well. Great for use in woodland gardens, courtyards and shady pathways planted with Heuchera and Hosta companions.
We also like Autumn Fern as an accent to winter containers as it will tolerate the winter sun but move to a shadier spot in the spring when you change your annual planting.
