Otto Quast Spanish

Spanish Lavender is one of the better growers in warmer climates and still provides masses of purple blooms on a fragrant silver green mound of foliage. Otto Quast is a particularly show Spanish Lavender producing large bloom heads with upright petals that look like rabbit ears atop the bloom bract. You will find it to attract butterflies, bees and other beneficial insects to the garden.

Plant is a sunny location with very well draining soils. Great for rocky gardens or perennial borders that are on the dry side. Flowers can be cut for arrangements or used in potpourris. Not recommended for consumption.

Care & Maintenance:
After the blooming season, cut the plant back to a compact mound.
