Tropical & Accent
Palm Chinese Fan
The Chinese Fan Palm is a rather adaptable plant that will serve as a beginner house plant with bright conditions or a landscape specimen in part to full sun conditions. We suggest using as a container accent with partial shade in the hottest part of the day. The beautiful fan texture will add a great tropical look to pool side plantings.

Growth Characteristics:
In warmer or more tropical climates, the Chinese Palm is considered an invasive species. It can reach heights of 40-50 feet with a single trunk of 15 feet wide. However, in our region, you can keep this as a specimen plant in a container for years under good care.
Care & Maintenance:
Well drained soil is a must.
* Low Water Requirement:
After this plant is well established, it has a lower than average water requirement. A good layer of mulch will also help reduce water needs.
