Flintwood Farms started as a dairy farm when the Thames family moved from Forest Park, GA all of about 15 miles to Fayette County. The city of Atlanta was growing and Fayetteville was undeveloped, farm land at the time, a great place for a family farm. The business was successful and featured as the cover photo of Hoard’s Dairyman, a well respected national dairy farm magazine.
