Clematis
Viva Polonia
Viva Polonia is a vigorous clematis with flare. The brightly colored hot pink to red blooms are marked with a white star pattern radiating from the center of each petal. This beauty flowers abundantly in early summer and lasts throughout the summer months. First blooming on old wood then continuing on new wood as it grows.
Remember "Feet in the Shade, Head in the Sun" will keep your clematis growing happily. A good layer of mulch or surrounding companion plants to shade the root system will keep its feet cool and the body of growth will bask in sunny glory. It just needs a sturdy structure to climb on and you are good to go.
