Lavender
stoechas Primavera
Primavera Lavender is a unique new Spanish Lavender with outstanding trial results in our Southern Region. Most remarkable is the long blooming period as Primavera will bloom from March through to the summer months almost non stop. The spanish bloom resembles little pineapple tops with purple flag bloom petals waving from the tip. Pollinators will love the fragrant lavender as it attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds but the Deer traffic will by pass your new gem in the garden along with the Rabbits.
Plant is a sunny location or at least partial sun (morning shade and hot afternoon sun). Water thoroughly but allow a good drying out period between waterings. Fertilize monthly in the growing season. Plants can be trimmed as much as 50% to continue promoting fresh blooming. Cut and enjoy your dried trimmings while she puts on another show!
